Pandan Chiffon Cake Recipe - Super Soft and Fluffy, No Baking Powder #StayHome #WithMe

We are back again in our kitchen. Still in isolation mode, we hope this video brings you inspiration to bake delicious things at home. Who doesn't love a super soft and fluffy chiffon cake? We love chiffon cake because it's light, airy, and perfect for all ages from kids to elderly people. Our favourite flavouring to add to the chiffon cake is pandan, also known as Asian vanilla. Since it's quite difficult to get fresh pandan here in Australia, you can always use pandan paste, which we also used in this video.



For egg yolks mixture:

  • 7 egg yolks
  • 120 ml coconut milk
  • 80 ml cooking oil
  • 130 gr low protein flour
  • 1 tsp pandan paste

For egg whites mixture:

  • 7 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp squeeze of lemon/lime
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 140 gr caster sugar
